Facility Usage Fees
Beloit USD 273 facilities are available for approved community use when scheduling permits. The fee schedule below outlines costs associated with the use of district facilities, grounds, and equipment. For questions regarding facility use or reservations, please contact the district office.
Facilities
Restroom Trailer
$500 per day. The restrooms must be returned clean and dumped, or a $100 dump fee will be assessed for the custodial crew to clean and dump.
Track
Fall Track Usage
$100 per session or $1,000 per season.
Spring Track Usage
$100 per session or $1,000 per season. Track Meet Usage - $1,500 per meet
Bus
Requirements:
Approval by Superintendent
Liability Insurance
Responsible for any damages to the bus
Responsible for the following expenses: Driver salary, fuel, and mileage.
Trojan Field
Will require a signed waiver for any use of the press box. The purpose of this is to waive any liability of accident to USD 273 - Beloit while using the current press box.
BES Multipurpose Room
$75 an hour or $500, whichever is less expensive.
HS Commons Area & Performance Stage
$75 an hour or $500 per day, whichever is less expensive.
Clubs & Organizations
Vendor Craft Fair
$500 plus custodial fees and proof of liability insurance. Includes:
Use of the commons, gymnasium
Set up on Friday, dependent on the school schedule, then the event on Saturday
Dance Recitals
$500 plus custodial fees and proof of liability insurance. Includes:
Use of the commons, stage, and sound system
Rehearsal 4 hours, recital up to 3 hours
Wrestling Tournament
$500 plus custodial fees and proof of liability insurance.
Set up the evening before the tournament
Cleanup immediately after the tournament
Basketball Tournament
$500 and proof of liability insurance.
Set up the day before/morning of the tournament
Cleanup immediately after the tournament
Buccaneer Football
$500 per season plus custodial fees and proof of liability insurance
8 Man All-Star
$1,500 per game, plus $1,500 for facility use for the week before the games, covering practice fields and locker rooms.
USD 273 will not be responsible for laundry service. A custodian can be contracted for the laundry service if the 8 Man All-Star Committee would like to enter into a contract with the current custodian.
Total Costs will be $4,500, which includes the painting of the fields, mowing, football field prep, practice field usage, and custodians for game day.
Must provide proof of liability insurance
Practices (Non-affiliated with USD 273)
Held at the elementary school gym, High school gym, or the indoor practice facility
Gyms: $40 per two-hour practice OR $300 for 10 sessions (whichever is less expensive)
Indoor Facility: $300 allows the ability to practice for the season.
Provide proof of liability insurance for the group using the facility.
List of supervising adults/coaches.
Use of the facility is for team activity/practices only with adult supervision.
Allternatives to the above fees:
Gym usage fees can be reduced through volunteer service by assisting with the cleaning of the BES and BJSHS gyms following junior and senior high events. Each cleaning session, applicable to both volleyball, basketball and wrestling activities, will account for one-sixth of the total usage fee. Completing six cleaning sessions will fully cover the cost of ten practice sessions. Additionally, other service projects may be considered based on their mutual benefit to all parties involved. These services will be scheduled through the Athletic Director and will be distributed equally to those who want to participate.
Notes:
Administration has the right to waive fees if the facility usage is related to school fundraising or school employees.
All scheduling of events must go through the Building Administration with a minimum of a 30-day notice. Administration will work with emergency situations that require shorter notice.
Each organization that rents USD 273 - Beloit grounds and/or facilities will be required to provide liability insurance with a single liability limit of $1,000,000.
Custodial fees of $25 per hour will be assessed when necessary.
